I’m Mel, and I am so excited you are here! I have been serving the Madison area for 30 years and love that I get to help women regain confidence with natural looking hand tied extensions!
As a self declared “lazy hair person” I am all about having hair that looks like I spent some time and effort on it but in reality, it takes me less than 10 minutes. I am a busy mom, business owner and I have other priorities in the morning that I don’t like to spend a lot of time doing my hair, however I want it to look like I do! That’s why I love having extensions and can't wait to help you fall in love with them too!
I have been specializing in extensions for over 5 years and commit to yearly education to hone my skills to ensure my guests have seamless, natural looking, and comfortable hair extensions.
When you come to Vi Anne & Co, we are welcoming you into our family, literally…I work alongside my beautiful and sassy daughter, Kendra. We have been working together almost 4 years and it has been the best (although sometimes challenging) time of my 30+ years behind the chair. She is definitely the Ying to my Yang. We are total opposites but somehow get told we are so much alike!
When I am not in the salon, you will probably find me hanging out with Kendra (she may be my favorite person on the planet but don’t let her brother and dad know that), binging any current Housewives show or trying to carve out some quality time with my husband, Greg. With being married almost 29 years sometimes that quality time is him watching Housewives with me!

Having fine hair myself, I can totally relate to being self conscious about it. That is why I have dedicated my career to helping women realize their dreams of fuller, more voluminous hair with extensions. I love being able to give my guests hair they love and the confidence they deserve. I know you will love the badass feeling they can give you too! It's like having an alter ego!

If you are wanting to have a stylist who is your biggest fan, I am your girl! I am big hearted, genuine and loyal to the core. If you spend time in my chair you will also witness my spontaneity, you never know what will come out of my mouth, heck half the time I don't know what is going to!

Outside of the salon you can find me chilling with they cutest puppy EVER! Kovur loves to come to the salon so you will probably meet her! I love Disney and am always dreaming up the next time I can go and be a kid again. Drink around the World, anyone?? Halloween is quickly becoming my favorite holiday but I LOVE Christmas and the magic of that time of year.
